Terms and Conditions
General
This is a legally binding contract between the property owner, NollieWoods and the guest. The property owner is also referred to as “we” and “us”.
The guest is the person who signs the booking form or, in the case of online booking, the person who makes the online payment. This person is responsible for ensuring all members of the holiday party accept and adhere to these terms and conditions. The guest is also referred to as “you”.
The property referred to being NollieWoods, Eagles Garth, Stoddards Lane, Beckley, East Sussex, TN31 6UE.
The lead guest must be a minimum of 18 at the time of booking.
Bookings
A booking deposit is payable within 5 days of the provisional booking being taken. The booking is taken on a provisional basis until the deposit has been paid in full and funds cleared through the banking system (where appropriate). The booking then becomes confirmed. Until the booking is confirmed, it can be cancelled at any time without prior notice.
The balance of the rental charge, along with the breakage deposit, is payable not less than 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. Failure to pay the deposit or balance in full by the due dates will constitute a cancellation of the holiday by the guest. Please be sure to note the due dates of these payments though reminders are routinely issued.
Bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellation by the Guest
If you need to cancel your booking, please inform us as soon as possible at bookings@nolliewoods.co.uk
Cancellations made more than 6 weeks prior to arrival will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee, equal to your non refundable deposit paid. Cancellations made within 6 weeks of arrival will not be refunded. We appreciate circumstances can change and would advise all guests to take out appropriate holiday cancellation insurance to cover unexpected occurrences.
Cancellation by the Property Owner
The property owner will endeavour to make sure the stated property is available for the dates contracted. In the unlikely event the property becomes not available and the property owner has to cancel the booking, the property owner will endeavour to find the guest suitable alternative accommodation. If suitable alternative accommodation cannot be found, the guest shall be entitled to a full refund. The property owner shall only be liable to return the monies received. No compensation or consequential losses shall be paid.
Miscellaneous
Whilst every care is taken to provide a true and accurate description of the property, over time, alterations are made and some things do change. The guest accepts that no refunds are available for such discrepancies.
The property owner reserves the right to enter the property, at a reasonable time, in the event of an emergency or remedial repair work being required.
The property owner is entitled to ask the guest to leave the property without any refund if, in the property owner’s opinion, the behaviour of the guest and/or his/her party is unacceptable.
The property owner reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone, who in the property owner’s opinion is not suitable to or capable of taking charge of the property.
The property owner reserves the right to ask the guest and their party to leave the property, without refund, should the behaviour of the guest and/or their party be considered by the property owner to be unreasonable.
Number of Guests
The maximum number of people entitled to stay at this property is clearly listed in it’s description and furthermore, only those people named on the booking form are entitled to stay. If it is found that more people than agreed are using the property, this will be considered a breach of contract and the guest and his/her party will be asked to leave immediately without any refund. Sub letting or assignation of the let is prohibited.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed in the property subject to the property owner’s agreement. All dogs must be house trained and the number and type of pet must not exceed what was agreed at the time of booking.
Dogs must not be left unaccompanied in the property at any time.
Dogs must be kept on a lead when outside the private garden area, for their safety and that of other animals on site.
Owners must pick up all dog poo. Dog poo is very harmful to other animals and unpleasant for humans. Please note additional charges will apply if this is not done.
Please bring throws or dog beds for your dogs, some are provided but extra charges may apply if soft furnishings, bedding, mattress protectors are left soiled or covered in dog hair.
Two well behaved medium dogs are allowed in the cabin. The cabin is not able to accommodate two large dogs. If you are unsure please email us to discuss on bookings@nolliewoods.co.uk
Please ensure dogs are clean and dry before being allowed in the cabin.
The guest shall be liable for all damage caused by his/her dog or any dog belonging to the guest’s party. A charge will be made for any additional cleaning required. The property owner cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury to a pet during their stay.
Our Livestock
NollieWoods has several chicken pens on site. Sometimes they may be free ranging on the property, not in the cabin’s private garden. Some of the pens are surrounded by electric fencing to protect the animals. Please do not get too close to pens or electric fencing, keep dogs on leads and children under control. Please do not feed the chickens unless we are with you and have supplied feed to do so. We reserve the right to ask the guests to leave is this is not adhered to.
Arrival and Departure Time
Every effort will be made to have the property available from 16:00 on the day of arrival. The property must be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure. Late departure will result in an additional charge being made. Information about keys and how to collect them will be provided once full payment has been received.
Liability
The property owner takes no responsibility for the personal possessions of the guest or the guest’s party. Vehicles and possessions are left entirely at the risk of the guest.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Cleaning
We would like to think the guest and party would treat the property as they would their own home and at the end of the holiday the property is left in a clean and tidy condition. The property owner retains the right to make an additional charge for cleaning should the property not be left in a similar condition to the way it was found at the start of the holiday.
Breakages
The guest should make every effort to keep the property, fixtures and fittings and all contents in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday. Any accidental dame or breakages should be reported to the property owner (or their representative) prior to departure. The property owner retains the right to make an additional charge for damage and breakages although it should be noted that minor breakages and reasonable wear and tear (in the opinion of the property owner) will not be charged for.
Noise
The property is in a rural area however we still have neighbours. Please respect our neighbours and ensure that noise is kept to a minimum after 10:00pm, particularly outside.
Electric Vehicles
The charging of electric vehicles from the domestic supply is NOT permitted. The area is well served with charging points, many of which are in the car parks of our many local attractions.
Complaints
Every endeavour is made to ensure your stay with us is memorable for all the right reasons. However, we do recognise that from to time things do go wrong. In these circumstances, it is the responsibility of the guest to make any such problem known to the property owner (or their representative) immediately it becomes apparent, thereby giving the property owner the opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained.
The property owner will make every endeavour to rectify any identified problems as soon as is reasonably possible.
Breakages by guests
Any breakages or damage must be reported immediately. We reserve the right to charge the guest for any breakages and damage caused at NollieWoods, this includes the cabin, garden, surrounding property and contents.
Fireworks, Chinese lanterns and candles
Fireworks and Chinese lanterns are not permitted anywhere on site. Candles are not allowed inside the units due to fire risk.
No Smoking Policy
Smoking and vaping is permitted only in the garden and away from the decked area. Smoking is specifically prohibited elsewhere on site and in the cabin due to the fire risk.
Skate Ramp Conditions, Liability and Other Important Information
The activity of skateboarding carries with it a degree of risk both to people and property, even if enjoyed under proper supervision by qualified instructors. It is also a strenuous activity that requires those taking part to have a reasonable standard of fitness. You must therefore make us aware of any medical conditions, illnesses or allergies you have and any prescribed medication you are taking on the booking form at the time of booking and to your skate instructor prior to skateboarding.
For participants under 18 years old it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to inform us of any medical conditions.
You should not participate in any skateboarding course with us if you are suffering from a heart condition or any other injury / illness which may affect you physical ability or if you are pregnant. You must in no circumstances be under the influence of any alcohol or illegal drugs.
You must not be under the influence of medication which may adversely affect your physical abilities.
You must agree to abide to all instructions and decisions that NollieWoods staff and our instructors make in order to secure the safety and comfort of all participants. You will have the use of NollieWoods equipment during your stay. Whereas we take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and good condition of that equipment, you are responsible for immediately reporting any damage caused to the equipment or which becomes apparent whilst the equipment is in your possession.
NollieWoods does not seek to limit or exclude any liability for personal injury or loss of life to participants which may occur as a result of its own negligence or that of our employees. However, NollieWoods assumes no liability in respect of any personal injury loss, damage, consequential loss or third party claims which occur through no fault of our own or caused by the negligence of you or one of the participants in your group.
Age restrictions and protective equipment
Skate Conditions
In the event that NollieWoods or our employees consider the mini ramp or weather conditions to be unsuitable for use of the mini ramp, we will close the ramp. The ramp is free for guests to use and not part of the payment made for accommodation and as such no part refunds will be due to the guest
It is a requirement that all guests intending to use the mini ramp must sign our copy of our terms and waiver on arrival and prior to using the mini ramp. These are to be securely stored at the office of NollieWoods.
