Where Locals Ride & Legends Visit

NollieWoods is a hidden gem for skaters looking to escape and explore the thriving scene on the Sussex coast. Nestled on the outskirts of the village of Beckley, our eco glamping lodge features a private mini ramp.

The mini ramp is great for those starting out, coming back to skateboarding after a break, intermediate and accomplished skaters alike!

The ramp is ideal for those wanting to build confidence before they hit the parks and equally great for those wanting to practice their transition skills and tricks.

Just a short drive away you’ll find the legendary Source Park and Boyley skatepark in Hastings.

The Source Park is known for being the largest underground skatepark in the world, and is home to the annual Battle of Hastings contest that draws BMX riders from across the world.

For those up for a skate road trip, head to Hove Lagoon’s smooth concrete plaza, Revolution Skatepark in Broadstairs for indoor versatility, or F51 in Folkestone – a multi-storey architectural marvel built for street, bowl, and vert skating. Further north, Skaterham in Caterham is a unique park inside a converted church. Whether you’re on a mellow cruise or chasing progression, NollieWoods is your basecamp for an unforgettable skate holiday surrounded by nature, community, and concrete.

Hove Lagoon skatepark is a new concrete park with all of the basics, featuring street and transition elements. However the main attraction of this park is the location, being situated right next to the beach.

Hove is about an hour and a half drive from here

With the beach just a few metres away, riders often experience windy conditions, but a row of trees offers some protection. The new park is laid out in a dual half-pipe configuration with many options for transitioning between the half-pipes. The park features a mini ramp, flat banks, quarter pipes, a jump box, a spine, a fun box, a driveway, several rails, and ledges

Eastbourne is about a 45 minute drive from here

One of England’s more iconic parks is The Boyley Skatepark in Hastings. Named after Hastings legend Richard ‘Boyley’ Ball, who sadly passed away in 2002, the skatepark on this site has been proud host of the annual Boyley Jam since. Sadly it could do with a bit of refurbishment now, but its still worth a visit! Boyley is about a half an hour drive from here.

Skaterham is built within a converted chapel. It is home to an 11 foot vert ramp! It is well worth a visit but opening times are restricted to evenings.

Skaterham is about an hour and a half from Beckley

Revolution Skatepark has 3 areas, street/jump, flow and the mini ramp room. These different areas offer something for everyone. They have a great shop and climbing/bouldering entre too.

Broadstairs is around an hour and a half from Beckley.
